Our team, comprising Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild, brings world-class expertise to deliver this city-shaping project under a Public-Private Partnership model.The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our HR team on the SSTOM Project. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate payroll services, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with payroll procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to one of the largest infrastructure projects in NSW.BenefitsBe part of a major infrastructure project transforming Greater Western Sydney.Join a collaborative and inclusive workplace with a strong safety culture.Competitive salary and opportunities for career development.Convenient Western Sydney location.ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll transactions efficiently and accurately.Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update payroll records.Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, and leave balances.Resolve payroll discrepancies and address payroll-related queries.Maintain payroll operations in line with internal policies and procedures.Interface with Finance and Cost Control teams to ensure alignment.Assist Line Managers in understanding and complying with payroll processes.Develop ad hoc payroll and operational reports as required.Monitor the payroll inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.Qualifications & Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Payroll, Accounting, or Finance.Minimum 2 years experience in a similar payroll role, preferably in construction.Experience using Payroll systems, including ADP and Payforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.Solid knowledge of Australian payroll systems across both blue- and white-collar employees.Key Skills:High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.Collaborative and team-oriented approach.Proactive in resolving issues and continuous improvement.Our Commitment to Safety:At Webuild, we prioritise safety through our "We Want Zero" program.
