This position will not be working with children, but will work with the Yolngu Community to development activity programs for community to run for the youth.About the RoleUnder the direction of the Regional Youth Coordinator and in collaboration with the project team, support the implementation of the East Arnhem Land Youth Model (EALYM) operationally with an emphasis on supporting Yolngu staff in four remote communities and engagement with Yolngu Leadership Groups.Please note: Travel required to community is a minimum of 2 weeks per month.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and train Yolngu staff, including engaging in recruitment and onboarding process.Provide operational support, training, and mentoring to Yolngu Activity Coordinators.Set and monitor deliverable outcomes for Activity Coordinators.Enhance the capability framework for Activity Coordinators.Travel to EALYM communities for program support and consultations.Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support project implementation and evaluation.Assist with logistical and operational aspects of monthly Leadership Group meetings.Ensure consistent implementation across all EALYM sites.Collect and input data for the Monitoring and Evaluation framework.Participate in meetings, training, and community forums, including record keeping.Perform high-level administrative duties and support day-to-day tasks.Contribute to policy improvements and local staff development.Uphold ALPA values and commit to work health and safety.About YouSelf-motivated with the ability to plan and organise project activities without close supervision.Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in community development or a relevant field.Good computer skills, experience using Microsoft Office suite.Good communicator and trainer in a cross-cultural environment.Proficient English literacy written and spokenA NT drivers manual license or ability to obtain before commencing employment.Willingness to undertake 4WD training.A NT Working with Children''s Check or ability to obtain before commencing employment.Understanding of and commitment to the EALYM.About ALPAWe are the Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA).We are Australias largest financially independent Indigenous corporation.We employ over 1400 employees across 26 remote locations throughout the NT and QLD.We exist to create economic independence and equal opportunity for Aboriginal peopleApply For Job #J-18808-Ljbffr
