We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow,and deliver better outcomes for members.Your New RoleReporting to the Senior Risk Lead, Guardian, this role sits initially within the program that is implementing the future AustralianSuper member service model, working closely with a team of specialists, external partners, and working across internal teams who are delivering superior member outcomes.This role is a 12 month contract.Some of your duties will include:Proactively engage with all stakeholders in the relevant workstreams and be positioned as the first point of call in relation to operational risk within the workstream. This will include understanding the changes and providing appropriate and balanced risk advice that will help the business safely deliver on agreed objectives.Active participant on relevant workstreams, including attending working group meetings, stand ups, workshops, check ins as appropriate.Input into the workstream project plans for the required risk activities for the risk deliverables.Lead the delivered risk assessment as per the Risk Approach.Identify, understand and assess delivered risks, new business risks and changes to the profile of existing risks and controls.What Youll Need3 + years experience in Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, Internal or External Audit, preferably in the Superannuation industry.Strong working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage and the ability to work autonomously when needed.Poise and ability to act calmly and ability to professionally handle confidential matters.Commercially astute and the ability to offer pragmatic advice underpinned by sound risk management principlesLife at AustralianSuperAustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
