Through promoting your property, you are empowered to act and make decisions that guide the business and inspire our team. This role will oversee all aspects of hotel reservations at Nesutos newest property and the first in the Victorian market. Nesuto Docklands opened in March 2023. It is a $100m new build apartment hotel located in Melbournes The District Docklands. The 211-key Apartment Hotel features 58 x 1-bedroom, 20 x 2-bedroom, and 133 premium apartments, along with an onsite gym. The role offers: A competitive salary package Heavily discounted rates on hotel stays for you, your friends, and family across Australia and New Zealand The opportunity to work with a growing brand across Australia and New Zealand Access to our health and wellbeing program The role involves: Overseeing all aspects of planning, organizing, and coordinating reservations for the property Reporting on all aspects of reservations to the Hotel Manager Handling guest requests, responding to feedback and reviews as required Interacting and building relationships with guests, corporate clients, suppliers, all team members, and department heads Training front desk team members on reservations processes Upselling services and offerings when processing reservations Acting as the main point of contact for all corporate and group reservations Providing assistance to the front desk team as required Driving revenue and achieving financial targets Striving to improve the property''s operations and find efficiencies in processes Ensuring health and safety practices are followed and the security of the building is effectively managed at all times The ideal applicant will: Have local knowledge: An in-depth understanding of the Melbourne market and connections within the industry Be tech-savvy: With a passion to learn and understand the latest technologies Grow meaningful relationships: Demonstrating the ability to build relationships with partners in the local business community Be a leader: We empower our team to act in the best interest of our team, guests, and the business Be intuitive: Ability to work autonomously, making decisions when needed, and seeking support as required Exceed expectations: Passionate about achieving above-market results Our ideal Reservations Coordinator will have: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role First Aid Certificate It is an exciting time to join our growing team.
