We seek an outstanding professional with strong consulting, technical, delivery, and client relationship skills to help expand our network by delivering tangible value to our clients.This role involves selling and delivering high-quality technical services, recruiting and developing future leaders, and enhancing our reputation in capital project management and delivery.ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus is supporting our clients in environmental approvals and impact assessments within renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.Lead and manage an approvals and planning team to secure major project approvals in renewable energy (wind farms, solar, hydrogen), mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.Oversee environmental assessment projects and related approvals to support capital project delivery.Build and manage a high-performance team, mentoring consultants and nurturing emerging talent.Support the growth of ERMs Capital Project Delivery service area through collaboration across teams and regions.Drive innovation within the technical community to meet client needs and differentiate ERM in the market.Work collaboratively with client and technical teams to build ERMs business.Achieve financial targets, manage project budgets and schedules, and meet client expectations.Partner with Account Directors to develop strategies to pursue and win new business, including:Engaging at senior levels within client organizations to showcase ERMs capabilities.Developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones through strategic consulting and quality service.Prioritizing sales efforts based on industry cycles and high-potential opportunities.Leading proposal development, including content, pricing, and contracting.Candidate RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualifications.15+ years of experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals, with knowledge of WA and Commonwealth legislative requirements.High technical competence in environmental planning, due diligence, land use planning, and impact assessment best practices, especially within renewables, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with major clients.Authorization to work in Australia.Deep understanding of project approval challenges and existing client relationships that can be leveraged for new business.Strong business acumen to recognize risks and opportunities.Track record of delivering multimillion-dollar sales and winning large projects annually.Who We AreAs a leading sustainability consulting firm, ERM is committed to contributing positively to the environment and society through our expertise and the energy of our employees worldwide.
