At Lynas Rare Earths, we do interesting stuff!Our Rare Earths deposit in Mt Weld, Western Australia, is acknowledged as one of the highest-grade Rare Earths mines in the world, and we operate the worlds largest single Rare Earths processing plant in Malaysia so youre joining a very unique team! As a team member, you will contribute to the sustainable supply of rare earths metals used in oil & gas, electric vehicles, and wind turbines.Lynas Rare Earths is currently seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join the team. In this position, you will play an integral role in developing, coordinating, supervising, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating health, safety, and environmental (HSE) systems at Lynas Rare Earths. This is a permanent full-time, fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster.As a valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team, you will:Prioritize HSE compliance.Implement OHS critical risk management programs.Assist the HSE team in managing and maintaining the companys international standards (ISM / ISO).Have sound knowledge of state WHS Acts and Regulations.Maintain a positive attitude with the ability to self-motivate, plan, and manage work programs.Interpret safety data, incident investigations, and injury management cases.Coach and mentor crews, frontline leaders, and management.Work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.What you will bring to the team:Significant experience in a similar role within the mining industry.Initiative and creative problem-solving skills.A strong understanding of HSE management and pragmatic implementation of management systems.Intermediate MS Office skills.Experience applying HSE legislation relevant to mining practices.Qualifications and/or Skills:Relevant HSE/OHS qualification Cert IV WHS minimum.Cert IV in Health Care.Familiarity with SRS notifications and submissions.ICAM Lead Investigator certification.C class manual drivers license, comfortable driving on gravel roads.Desirable Qualifications and/or Skills:Cert III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue.Injury management experience.Mine Air Quality Officer certification.Experience with STEMS.Operational role experience.We are committed to an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and a sense of belonging.We welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the LGBTI+ community, mature workers, and candidates from diverse cultural backgrounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
