The Role Location: South Melbourne, VIC Monday to Friday, within standard business hours, with occasional weekend work during peak seasons. What You Will Do: Sales: Seek new sales opportunities, build relationships within the event industry, and maximise revenue from existing clients. Customer Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for event inquiries, providing outstanding customer service. Event Planning: Coordinate staging solutions, working closely with clients to meet their needs. Sales Coordination: Manage client accounts, follow up on leads, and finalize sales agreements. Project Management: Oversee logistics for event setup and breakdown in collaboration with the operations team, ensuring timely execution. Collaboration: Work with departments such as production and operations to ensure seamless service delivery. Event Reporting: Track event success, gather client feedback, and handle post-event follow-ups. Ideal Candidate Profile: Charismatic personality and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in event planning and/or management is preferred. Strong sales and customer service abilities. Knowledge of hire and rental industries, especially AV, rigging, or staging products, is advantageous. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
