Fair Work Adviser - Sydney and MelbourneWe are currently seeking Fair Work Advisers in our Sydney and Melbourne offices at the Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman (OFWO). Part-time and full-time hours are available. You will be required to work in one of the advertised office locations during initial training and may also work from home when not operationally required to attend the office.All positions are expected to commence in August 2025. The recruitment assessment stages, including interviews, are anticipated to take place throughout June 2025. We provide tailored advice and information to both employers and employees, empowering our customers.The RoleAs a Fair Work Adviser, you will be on the phone in a fast-paced contact centre environment advising and assisting the Australian public daily. You will help a diverse range of employees and employers understand workplace rights, entitlements, and responsibilities. Success in this role requires a desire to help people, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.The CareerThrough our comprehensive training and coaching program, you will develop skills in researching and interpreting legislation and enhancing your communication abilities. This will enable career progression within the Fair Work Infoline as a Coach or Team Leader, and across the OFWO, with past Advisers advancing to roles such as Fair Work Inspectors, Communications Officers, or joining Data teams.This is the first job where I not only feel secure, but that investment is from both sides.
