Job Description

We are an Adelaide-based company with experience in over 5,000 projects across residential, commercial, industrial, retail, hotels, and retirement dwellings, located in landmark sites throughout Adelaide, South Australia, and Melbourne, Victoria.We also possess a valuable land bank in Adelaide CBD and Glenelg, and are initiating a construction program on four of these sites.PURPOSEOur Project Manager will oversee the Projects / Developments Division, managing projects from planning to handover. This role involves coordinating contractors and consultants, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining communication with the Chairman, Executives, and stakeholders.The ideal candidate will supervise and manage the project and construction teams to maximize return on investment across all projects within the division.RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver construct-only and/or design-and-construct residential and commercial multi-level building projects.Apply project management methodologies and industry best practices.Lead and manage teams of construction professionals, including mentoring and performance management.Manage planning and authority approval processes.Coordinate all development phases, including concept, documentation, and briefs, in accordance with approvals.Engage and manage consultants and builders.Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes to direct work progress, monitor compliance, costs, and schedules.Ensure quality control and implement cost-effective construction practices.GENERALComply with all relevant laws and regulations.Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and procedures.EXPERIENCEMinimum 10 years of extensive project management experience, including leading multi-level projects.Knowledge of project management methodologies.Thorough understanding of building industry best practices.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook).Working knowledge of construction software programs.Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing outcomes.Proven contractor management, leadership, and supervision skills.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile for insights.Your application will include questions about your right to work in Australia, years of project management and construction experience, people management, familiarity with Microsoft Office products, and experience with project planning and scheduling.Please include any additional relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
