In this position, youll guide day-to-day operations, support and develop team members, and lead by examplemeeting customers where they are, whether in the showroom, in their homes, or on-site.This role is perfect for someone with a background in flooring or construction who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment. You''ll enjoy a balance of leadership, collaboration, and customer interaction, driving performance while helping shape the success within the business.Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToLead and manage the Measure & Quote team to ensure high performance, accountability and customer satisfactionProvide onboarding, coaching and on-going training to Measure & Quote Specialists to ensure consistency in service delivery and adherence to process standardsProvide support where necessary to help the team close sales and take deposits, including coaching on sales techniques and customer engagementMonitor team workload, scheduling and performance metrics to ensure timely and accurate service deliveryConduct regular check-ins, performance reviews and development planning for team membersAssist the team, as required, to complete their duties per National Tiles policies and proceduresMaintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and installation methodsCollaborate with store sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience and accurate order processingBook in measure and quotes from qualified leadsConduct in-home or on-site measurements for installation projectsAdvise customers on product suitability, installation requirements and recommended upgrades to ensure best fit for purposeProvide accurate and detailed quotes with clear breakdowns, ensuring transparency and clarity for customersSupport the sales process as needed, including helping to close the sale and take depositsMaintain accurate records of measurements, quotes, and customer interactionsFacilitate smooth handover of customer to Installation Support / Customer Support SpecialistsEnsure customer satisfaction by addressing any further enquiries, either from the customer, Installation Support or the store, professionally and promptly.Contact customers post installation to complete sign-off or immediately book in QC visit if issues are raisedAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have experience in the flooring or construction industry, with a strong understanding of installation, sales, or quotingwhether in a retail showroom or as part of on-the-road measure and quoting.
