Talent and Development Advisor (HR Projects)The Talent & Development Advisor (Projects) position is essential for enhancing Auto & Generals capabilities by collaborating with business leaders and the People & Culture division. The role focuses on refining, implementing, and scaling a Technical Capability Framework for frontline roles. It involves leading critical projects with long-term impact and accountability for embedding these initiatives.Position AccountabilitiesManage projects related to the review and improvement of the Technical Capability Framework (Role Connect) for Consultants and Frontline Leaders across divisions.Conduct discovery phases, provide detailed recommendations, and drive the implementation of changes and governance.Oversee the wider rollout of the Technical Capability Framework into new role areas, collaborating with business leaders and SMEs.Lead the embedment of the Framework in operational systems and processes in partnership with SME teams.Support change management processes alongside People Business Partners, T&D Advisors, and the Head of OD.Maintain quality control and governance to ensure consistency and scalability of the Framework.Qualifications and ExperienceUnderstanding of frontline claims, sales, and/or service business operations.Proven project leadership experience, especially in learning, change, or technical frameworks, with proficiency in digital project tools.Strong internal consulting and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing up to senior management.Excellent coaching abilities to motivate and challenge individuals for behavioral change.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong planning and organizational skills.Exceptional communication skills, flexibility, and resilience.Experience within the Banking, Finance, or Insurance sectors.Attributes for SuccessStrong organizational and project management skills.Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Collaborative mindset to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.Enjoys designing enterprise frameworks and programs.Inherent Role RequirementsBased at Toowong, North Lakes, or Kawana with travel as needed.Current drivers license and own transport required.LocationFlexible locations across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, with options at Toowong, North Lakes, or Kawana, each offering different amenities and scenic views.Benefits of Working at A&GAuto & General (A&G) is a leading Motor and Home insurer in Australia, providing a range of insurance products and solutions through the Budget Direct brand and partnerships with ING, Qantas, and Virgin Money.
