Chevalier College seeks applications for this full-time, permanent support staff position commencing Monday 21 July, 2025.Role OutlineReporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Services, the Administration Manager leads the school administration, front office and student services functions of the College, supporting staff and students in delivering the Colleges core business of student formation, learning, teaching and wellbeing.The Administration Manager embodies the values of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in their duties, thereby contributing positively to the Colleges mission.The CollegeChevalier Colleges rich 79-year history is shaped by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) values of kindness, compassion, inclusivity, and hospitality. Early commencement of HSC, a flexible Monday timetable, and scheduled Wellbeing lessons are a few of the initiatives introduced in 2024.The key responsibilities of the Administration Manager include:Providing effective leadership, management and supervision of a team delivering administration, front office and student services functions of the College.The utilisation and development of technologies and the training and development of staff to utilise those technologies to deliver operational efficiencies and effective communications with the College internal stakeholders such as staff, students and parents.Managing information systems to ensure student-related records are maintained appropriately to meet regulatory requirements.Developing and establishing protocols and processes for administration activities and workflows that extend beyond immediate office operations and student service procedures.Ensuring the delivery of student services are aligned to College wellbeing priorities and meet compliance requirements.Exercising independent judgment and initiative in overseeing the operations of the Colleges office and other administrative activities to ensure a professional service is provided in a timely manner.Ensuring an up-to-date annual calendar is maintained in the College information system.Working collaboratively with the Leadership team, teaching and support staff to deliver effective and timely administrative and logistical support (including supplies and catering) for correspondence, excursions, extracurricular program, school events and other initiatives as required.Ensuring accurate, efficient and effective communications to parents/carers in relation to weekly school events, excursions and important notices across various communication platforms, and assisting with the distribution of other communications as requested by the Leadership team.Assisting in planning future office organisational needs and resource requirements.Ensuring deadlines and targets are met.It is essential for the preferred applicant to have demonstrated evidence where they have previously applied the following skill sets in a similar context:Leadership: Strong leadership skills evidenced by experience in leading and developing teams and delivering process improvements to achieve operational outcomes.Technology: Experience and advanced technology skills in managing information systems and databases and implementing system administrative improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with school-specific systems is desirable, but not essential.Training and Development: Proven ability to lead training, or facilitate training initiatives for office staff, ensuring effective use of information systems and applications for operational procedures and processes, supported by comprehensive procedural documentation.Communication & Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated experience in effectively engaging with senior leadership and external parties to foster a positive and efficient working environment.Administrative Expertise: Strong administrative and organisational skills for managing daily operations.Problem-Solving: Proficient in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.Resource Management: Effective planning, including budget management and resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources and that deadlines and targets are met.Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful applicant will have completed relevant post-secondary qualifications in administration, management or technology, and/or will have substantial technical and procedural knowledge and experience which may be deemed by the Employer as being comparable with post-secondary training.OtherFull-time, permanent support staff position.Salary as per Level 6 under the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Support Staff Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023.This is a child-related position.
