We are located on the Eastern parkland fringe of Adelaide''s CBD, in an iconic Heritage listed building with excellent facilities, catering to a broad range of Member interests, with excellent food and beverage offerings. Our landmark location boasts on-site Parking and a beautiful private garden.In this key leadership position, you will be accountable for implementing the strategic direction of the Club and ensuring exceptional member and guest experiences. You will manage the Cub''s financial, operational, and staffing functions, and be responsible for ensuring the Club''s facilities afford the environment of refined elegance that define the Club, and Member expectations.What you''ll be doingProvide leadership in implementing strategic direction for the Club to support its business objectives.Manage all aspects of the Club''s trading operations, including food and beverage, events, accommodation, and membership services.Oversee the Club''s financial management, including budgeting, cash flow, and reporting.Ensure the Club''s facilities are presented to an optimum standard.Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of staff to deliver exceptional services to Members and their guests.Implement effective marketing and membership strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Members, suppliers, and the local community.Ensure the Club''s compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.What we''re looking forRelevant experience (5+ years) in a similar Management role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry, preferably in a Membership-based organisation, in Australia.A proven track record of driving operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.Excellent Member service orientation and the ability to foster a Member-centric culture.A sound understanding of financial management, reporting, and budgeting, and supporting systems.High level skills with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications, and a sound knowledge of Point of Sale systems are essential.High level communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated experience in marketing, digital and social media strategies.Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.What we offerCompetitive salary and performance-based incentives.Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Attractive employee benefits, including health and wellness initiatives.Collaborative and supportive work environment.About usThe Naval, Military and Air Force Club of SA has been established for nearly 150 years.
