Add expected salary to your profile for insightsRochester and Elmore District Health ServiceCaring For Our CommunityAssistant Director of NursingFull Time, ongoing positionThe role of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to support the provision of senior leadership and management within the Clinical Services division ensuring the day to day management and application of best practice across Acute, District Nursing and Aged Care, enabling person centered care in a safe, high quality service environment.This position will work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations to ensure clinical services reflect contemporary best practice and includes undertaking service planning and building capacity within the nursing team to manage service growth and development.Responsibilities and Performance Indicators:Provide professional leadership for clinical services ensuring appropriate standards of care are maintained and continually improvedResponsible for supporting performance against allocated daily operations, clinical indicators and any other key performance indicators that apply from time to time with regular monitoring and reporting completedPromote a culture that empowers and motivates staff to increase skills and knowledge to achieve REDHS objectives understanding they are accountable and responsible for careConduct work professionally in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and the ANMC Code of Ethics for Nurses and common lawTo be successful in this role you will have:APHRA Registration as a Registered NurseOperational knowledge of health services and aged care operations and an understanding of legislative compliance and performance measures that are required to comply with funding agreementsDemonstrated knowledge of quality, safety and risk management standards and systems that apply to the planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of health service areasYou will be required to have or obtain all of the following:Complete the Employment Application formComplete your application on Seek including uploading resume and cover letter including selection criteria if applicableAbout REDHSRochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.We enjoy a strong relationship with our community and we are focused on delivering services that meet their needs.Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.Why do our staff like working for us?
