Job Description for Skilled Labourer - Fencing and Outdoor ConstructionOur clients, operating out of their purpose-built facility in the Pakenham area, are a fencing and outdoor construction business with over 30 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and residential fencing installations servicing all industries in greater Melbourne and surrounding areas.With a high volume of work in the pipeline, we are looking to recruit a skilled labourer seeking consistent work in residential and commercial fencing.Key Responsibilities:Assist installers in installing various types of fencing, including timber, Colorbond, aluminium, and other materials.Dig post holes and set fence posts in concrete or gravel.Assist in measuring and marking layouts according to working drawings.Load, unload, and transport fencing materials to and from job sites.Operate hand and power tools such as shovels, post hole diggers, saws, and drills.Requirements:Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working on your feet for extended periods.Reliable, honest, with good communication skills and a teamwork attitude.White Card and valid driver''s license.Knowledge and experience using hand and power tools.High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Long-term commitment to the role.Immediate availability to start.If you believe you are suitable for this position, please apply through SEEK or visit our website at SMS Personnel and click on the JOBS tab.
