Add expected salary to your profile for insights ABOUT KIDS OF MACARTHUR HEALTH FOUNDATION Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation is a registered childrens charity serving the three local government areas of Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly making up the Macarthur region. Funds are raised to purchase paediatric medical equipment for local hospitals, community health centres and local family clinics. All equipment purchased is in addition to government expenditure. Funds are also used to support local childrens health initiatives along with hosting and maintaining the Childrens Services Directory. Funds are raised through hosting community events, preparing submissions and grant applications along with a workplace giving programs and donations. ABOUT THE ROLE The Chief Executive Officer will liaise directly with the Board of Directors comprising community business leaders, doctors, clinicians and administrators from Campbelltown Hospital. The CEO will lead a small team in the day-to-day running of the Foundation including preparation for community events, preparing reports, liaising with sponsors and preparation of submissions and grants. The CEO is responsible for developing an annual budget, marketing strategy and events calendar with a focus on public relations. They will work closely with the sub-committees of the Foundations major events ensuring the highest level of presentation and participation is achieved at every event. WORKPLACE RESPONSIBILITIES The Foundation operates in an office space in the Campbelltown Hospital precinct. The small staff have allocated responsibilities but on occasion it is necessary for an all hands on deck approach to meet deadlines. The Foundation strongly relies on community volunteers. A number of events run outside normal working hours so it is necessary to be flexible to work nights and on weekends when necessary. The CEO is responsible for the preparation of budgets, all reports, funding submissions and grant applications as well as liaising with venues in preparation for community events. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to forge relationships with new sponsors while maintaining strong links to existing partners. The successful candidate will be a respected, inspiring and innovative leader who embraces the Foundations vision, mission and values. They must have a sound knowledge of digital platforms. They must have an intimate knowledge of the Macarthur region and well established networking links within our community. Access to NFP salary packaging is available.
