The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation to injured workers in their claims for compensation. Ideally this position will be part time 4 days a week, however full time will be considered for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients on all aspects of Workers Compensation claims, including:Determining entitlement to compensationAdvising on medical treatment optionsNegotiating settlements with insurersPreparing and filing necessary documentationRepresenting clients at hearings and mediationsLiaising with medical professionals, insurers, and other relevant partiesConduct legal research and analysisMaintain accurate client files and billing recordsContribute to the development and improvement of firm processes and proceduresProvide support and guidance to junior lawyers and paralegals (if applicable)Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 4 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Lawyer (Applicant Side) in NSWProven track record of success in achieving positive outcomes for clientsStrong knowledge of relevant legislation and case lawExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong negotiation and advocacy skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong client service orientation and empathyExcellent organizational and time-management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
