This role is ideal for a junior accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career!MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Management and Financial InformationAid in the timely and accurate production of management reports, including commentary for various business units, analysis of sales, inventory, pricing, and costing variations, and material usage.Assist with the reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts, including inventory and fixed assets across the Group.Work with existing systems to develop and improve current reporting and analysis processes.Assist with the completion of Operational/CapEx budgets and support the team as required.Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.Revenue GenerationInvestigate revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities, analyze potential ROI, and pursue initiatives where appropriate.Monitor revenue, cost, and margin targets.InnovationExplore new or more effective business processes and utilize technology efficiently.Adherence to Legislation, Policies, and ProceduresAssist in developing and maintaining financial policies, standards, and procedures documentation.Help create standard work instructions for routine tasks within the finance department.Conduct reviews to ensure procedures are followed.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Exposure to MRP systems.Excellent time management and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Highly motivated, self-driven, energetic, results-oriented, and goal-focused.Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.Ability to learn and proceduralize standard tasks performed by team members.Experience with weekly reporting and reviewing monthly business activities, including KPIs.Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and ethical behavior.Timely communication of critical issues and business risks.Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or Business.CPA or CA qualification or nearing completion.Current Australian Driver''s License.WHY JOIN US?High pay and quality of life.Employee rewards program.Opportunities for career progression within our global organization.Supportive work environment with Employee Assistance Program.On-site canteen, free parking, staff discounts, monthly staff BBQs, and annual flu vaccination program.The Midfield Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
