You will be part of our Wangaratta reticulation team that services from Springhurst to Wangaratta and down through the King Valley.In this role you will have access to a diverse range of learning opportunities, allowing you to expand your knowledge and skills in the field of reticulation.The general hours of work are between 7am and 4:30pm and once deemed competent, you will be required to participate in a seven-day on call roster every 4-7 weeks which operates from a Tuesday until the following Tuesday.Emergency repairs on water and wastewater pipes and assets.Scheduled maintenance on water and wastewater pipes and assets.Monitoring and maintenance of sewer pump stations.Water meter inspections, readings, and repairs.Inspection of assets.Completion of electronic work orders and data entry.Ordering and collecting parts and materials.Basic site and ground maintenance.Other duties as required.For further detail on the role, please refer to the position description below.Key Selection CriteriaTo be in consideration for this position please address in your application how you meet the following key selection criteria:Understanding of and/or experience in asset (such as pipes and pumps) and equipment monitoring and maintenance.Basic computer skills with the ability to conduct system checks, complete electronic work orders and input information.Understanding of and/or experience in the maintenance of water and sewer networks, is desirable but not required.Licence or competency in the use of excavation equipment, is not required but a willingness to obtain is essential.Current Medium Rigid Drivers licence is preferred (a willingness to obtain is essential).Were committed to creating a comfortable and inclusive environment for all candidates.
