Join North & West Remote Health (NWRH) as a Community Engagement Officer and help drive awareness and access to the Carer Gateway program across regional Queensland from Longreach.About the RoleAs a key player in our Carer Gateway Services team, you''ll lead local outreach and engagement activitieshelping connect carers with the right support and resources. This includes delivering information sessions, registering carers for services, and working with hard-to-reach communities to build strong, inclusive connections.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote Carer Gateway services and identify ''hidden'' carers in the communityEngage carers with empathy and support them through the registration and referral processPlan and attend community events, network meetings and outreach activitiesCoordinate carer referrals and ensure accurate, timely documentationRepresent NWRH across diverse stakeholder settingsSupport continuous improvement and community capacity building initiativesDeliver Carer Coaching and Peer Support Groups sessions in the allocated communities.About YouYou''re a people person with a background in community engagement or development, and you''re passionate about making a real impact in the lives of carers.
