Join us and help the worlds leading organizationsunlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.Your roleAs an AI Management Consultant within our DCX team, youll work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the DCX community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.You will play a key role in:Lead client engagements across the strategy-to-delivery spectrum, aligning AI technologies to organisational outcomes in the public sector.Advise on AI strategy, governance, and operating models, including responsible AI principles, platform integration, and transformation roadmaps.Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, designers, and policy experts to deliver human-centred, scalable, and ethical AI solutions.Work with C-level and senior executives to align AI initiatives with business needs, regulatory requirements, and citizen expectations.Translate complex AI concepts into actionable plans for government departments, regulators, and agencies.Support the design, procurement, and delivery of AI platforms, including vendor engagement, commercial modelling, and implementation planning.Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, and capability uplift throughout AI transformation programs.Contribute to internal thought leadership and the development of reusable frameworks, tools, and assets for AI delivery in government.Your profile610+ years experience in management consulting, strategy, or digital transformation, ideally within the public sector or professional services.Demonstrated experience in AI strategy, digital service transformation or public sector reform.Exposure to AI technologies and platforms (e.g. machine learning, generative AI, agentic systems) and their application in public service use cases.Actively seeks input from cross-functional teams, values diverse perspectives, and contributes to group problem-solving to achieve project objectives efficiently.Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting messaging style as needed for different audiences.Identifies potential project risks early, communicates them transparently to the team, and collaborates on developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure responsible AI development.A degree in Business, Public Policy, Technology, Economics, or a related field.Experience in the public sector field either in a top-tier consultancy, public sector advisory firm or a state/federal public service.Familiarity with ethical AI frameworks, privacy law, and digital platform regulation.A working understanding of cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Azure).Must be an Australian citizen and be able to hold a BASELINE security clearance.What youll love about working hereYou will be a part of a diverse collective of free-thinkers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.
