The ClientThe trustee for Iris Trust located in Sydney is a locally owned Subway restaurant. They require a full time Retail Manager to join their team.The RoleThis role is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $75,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.ResponsibilitiesEngage customers by recommending menu items and providing guidance on product customization to ensure an exceptional dining experience.Analyze and optimize the product mix to align with customer preferences, seasonal trends, and inventory capabilities, ensuring a balance between profitability and customer satisfaction.Flawlessly implementing the store promotional plans including any seasonal marketing strategies to boost salesEnsure store and staff compliance with company and legislative employment, hygiene, health and safety requirements.Overseeing all aspects of store operations, including food management, staff scheduling and cash handling, with full accountability for meeting operational standards and goals.Supervising and managing retail inventory records and stock levels to ensure ingredients and products are constantly restockedMonitor and record incoming and outgoing business expenses to ensure the store meets financial targets and stays within operational budgets.Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to Subway''s policies and procedures by all team membersExecute & manage visual merchandising within the storeMotivating and leading the team to connect with customers and provide an amazing and engaging customer service experienceMaximising budgeted sales and controlling expenses (including wages and shrinkage) through your understanding and driving of KPIs, loss prevention strategies and operational excellenceRecruiting, training and retaining team members to create a fun, collaborative and success focused cultureRequirementsA relevant AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma in relevant fieldMinimum 1 year experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial levelMinimum of 1 year people management experienceMinimum of 1 year in managing inventory and stock levelsStrong operational management backgroundAbility to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitementDemonstrated VM / volume stock management abilitiesPassion for driving customer serviceGood time management and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
