You will receive an email within 24 hrs confirming receipt of your resume.Not ready to applyWe''d still love you to follow our company page on LinkedIn and X and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on all things AMC!Skills RequiredKey ResponsibilitiesServe as the sole in-house counsel with a strong focus on contracts and commercial matters.Balance legal risk with commercial realities and opportunities.Take a hands-on role with the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in critical areas such as relevant mining industry codes and regulations.Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for AMCs projects and business opportunities.Review, draft, interpret, and negotiate consulting agreements and related contractual documents within agreed timeframes.Identify and mitigate legal risks related to contracts, commercial terms, and IP management.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts and legal documents meet business needs and comply with applicable laws and regulations.Contribute to contract improvement, training, compliance management, and enhanced risk management.Establish and oversee intellectual property management processes, including the protection, registration, and enforcement of IP assets.Develop and implement commercial terms and conditions that support business objectives and ensure consistency across all agreements.Assist in dispute resolution and manage any legal issues that may arise from contractual obligations or IP concerns.Provide other legal advice to the business and/or coordinate with external counsel on matters such as employment law, sanctions compliance, or other business risks and opportunities.Oversee and control external legal expenditure.Stay up to date with relevant legal developments and ensure that the companys practices remain compliant with current laws.Qualifications4-6 years PQE in private practice and/or in-house legal teams.Exposure to professional services/consulting environment is an advantage.Experience with international clients and contracts.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on quality.A high level of initiative and willingness to support and assist.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
