ABOUT THE ROLEFull Time OngoingBase salary $92,535 per annum + 11.5% superannuationHybrid flexible working arrangements availableBe part of a small and dynamic team that plays an integral role in the planning, coordination and delivery of councillor business, corporate information and performance reporting.Key responsibilities in this role include:Collaborate with Councils internal teams to assist with the collection of content, design and development of Councils Community Vision, Council Plan and Annual Initiatives.Coordinate collection of data for all Corporate Planning documents such as Annual Report, Department Business Plans, Quarterly Organisational Reporting, and Local Government Performance Reporting.Ensuring Councils Corporate Planning functions meet all statutory requirements by developing reports that inform and engage stakeholders and whilst meeting legislative requirements.Regular updates and compiling of instruments of delegation and authorisation ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.Providing assistance and backfill support in Governance, Corporate Forward Planning and Business Continuity Plan activation and management.ABOUT YOUTo be successful, you have:Certificate in Business Administration and some relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications.Substantial experience in an administrative role with relevant qualifications or acquired learning.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint and experience with electronic records management.Experience in a Local Government environment, particularly in corporate planning or council business, whilst not essential, is highly desirable.Developed customer service and communication skills.ABOUT USSouth Gippsland Shire Council offers a friendly and professional workplace with values based leadership.We put our customer at the centre of all we do and strive to deliver exceptional projects and services to our community.Our region provides a perfect blend of coast and country.
