Championing farming at the nexus of profit and purpose, our nature positive asset management and innovative natural capital strategies align exceptional financial returns with enduring ecological stewardship.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of IAA, the General Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Cavan Group, with oversight of all associated assets. This includes the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices, asset performance management, and the leadership of teams to deliver both financial and environmental outcomes.The successful candidate will be accountable for driving and executing strategic initiatives across these segments for the IAA group. This role may also extend to managing additional assets outside of the Cavan Group.The PersonThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead one of Australias most iconic pastoral enterprises. We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following background, key skills and attributes:Minimum 15 years experience in large-scale farm management, with a focus on stud livestock, regenerative agriculture, and team leadershipProven track record of leadership within the Australian sheep & wool industryTrack record of accountability for driving & executing strategic initiativesResults-driven with a strong focus on operational excellenceAn effective communicator, with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholdersStrong knowledge of Low Stress Stock Handling, regenerative principles, WHS, and environmental complianceCompletion of RCS Farming & Grazing for Profit (highly desirable)Current Australian Drivers Licence and flexibility for regional travelThis is a rare opportunity for someone passionate about sheep, wool, regenerative agriculture, and environmental stewardship to help shape the strategic and operational direction of the Cavan Group, working closely with Impact Ag Australia to unlock the next chapter for this remarkable pastoral enterprise.
