This role is accountable for coordinating the preparation and distribution of employee remuneration in an accurate and timely manner.What Youll DoThis role is focused on calculating and paying monthly and weekly payouts for our wages employees who are employed under a number of enterprise agreements, as well as processing payroll for our salaried employees.As well as providing a high standard of quality transactional payroll services, duties will include:Process and distribute payroll, ensuring the regular payment of full entitlements to all employees in an accurate and timely mannerConduct monthly reconciliations where requiredProcess and set up new employees in the systemProcess leave forms and maintain accurate employee dataMaintain an up to date understanding of all Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and Acts pertaining to payroll and the Coal IndustryProviding reporting and analysis to the broader business as requiredWhat Youll BringIn addition to working in a high-volume processing environment, you have:Relevant experience as a Senior Payroll Officer within a large organisationExperience with enterprise agreementsStrong attention to detailGood time management and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperienced in the use of Pulse software and Dayforce software (desirable)Certificate III or IV in Financial Services - Accounts Clerical (desirable)Why Whitehaven Coal?Career development, mentorship and coachingNewly renovated office with water viewsASX Listed Industry leaderAttractive remuneration packageParking and annual tax free share grantsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, apply now and we will be in touch with you!Whitehaven Coal is committed to increasing the representation of women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the workplace.
