Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are currently seeking an experiencedPractice Coordinatorto join our specialist cardiology group.We are a very busy specialist practice with an innovative medical team with a focus on providing exceptional care for our patients.This position on offer is full-time at our Hervey Bay practice.We are looking for a team player who, can demonstrate a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and reliability.The successful candidate needs to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills, high level of communication and interpersonal skills and exercise a high attention to detail. We seek a fast learner who has great retention of information and strong computer skills. The work is interesting and busy. As a valued member of our practice, you will have a warm and caring nature.Criteria:This role requires previous specialist experience.Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner.Ability to maintain a calm and cheerful disposition in a busy environment whilst managing various responsibilities and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy.Strong time management and organisational skills with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with a proven record to follow directions closely and accurately.A commitment to teamwork, honesty, and integrity.Experience with specialist medical software.Previous experience organising a team under the guidance of the Senior Practice Coordinator.Flexibility and adaptability.Duties include but are not limited to:General reception duties including answering the telephone in a professional manner.Respond to emails.Scanning and electronic filing of correspondence.Organising and management of patient appointments and clinics.Patient invoicing and receipting of consultations.Collect and process incoming mail.Other general office duties.You will oversee the daily coordination of the practice, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and order you will liaise with the Business Manager regarding practice maintenance and supplies.You will be assisting with the scheduling of complex patient appointments and procedures, triaging referrals, requiring fastidious attention to detailAnswering incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner.Procedure bookings will require you to liaising with hospital admission staff and anaesthetists.We are looking for someone who understands the importance of caring for our patients and have the flexibility to thrive in a busy environment.You will receive collegiate support and training from existing senior staff who have expert knowledge of the requirements of the role.NO typingNO inpatient billingDesired Skills and Experience:Previous experience in a similar role.Reliability and flexibility as dictated by the specialists requirements.Experience using Health Track practice software a distinct advantageExcellent people skills and the ability to relate to all patients and third parties in a professional, supportive and efficient manner.Excellent written, verbal and phone skills.A calm and measured manner, with the ability to adapt as circumstances require.If you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this role, which is available for an immediate start, please submit your CV addressing the criteria requested.
