Integration Specialist (Senior MuleSoft Developer)Join to apply for the Integration Specialist (Senior MuleSoft Developer) role at Western Sydney International AirportIntegration Specialist (Senior MuleSoft Developer)Join to apply for the Integration Specialist (Senior MuleSoft Developer) role at Western Sydney International AirportCome and join the team delivering Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, the lynchpin of the extraordinary transformation currently underway to stimulate investment and develop high-quality career opportunities across Western Sydney.An airport that represents the future of aviation, Western Sydney International (WSI) will open to international, domestic and air cargo services in late 2026 and will eventually grow to become the city''s primary airport and one of Australia''s biggest gateways to the world.About the OpportunityReporting to the Technology Integration & Data Manager, this is a pivotal role in designing and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Solace PubSub+, Globalscape EFT, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. It involves leading integration projects that connect SaaS and on-premises systems while overseeing platform administration for key integration and file transfer platforms.A strategic thinker is required to drive technical discussions, design scalable solutions, and collaborate with operations teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and technical documentation. Experience in Microsoft Fabric and Data Engineering is highly valued, with potential for upskilling and contributions in these areas.Key responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft-based integration solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.Solution and implement end-to-end integrations involving Airport Operational Systems, Baggage Handling, Building Management, SaaS-based Business Applications (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow ITSM, Microsoft Dynamics, Asset Management Systems), on-premises applications and 3rd Party systems belonging to Airlines or Air Services Australia (ASA).Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and application developers to define integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring automated testing, code quality checks, and smooth deployment processes, while enhancing CI/CD workflows as required.Integrate and manage Solace PubSub+ MQ as part of the messaging backbone between systems.Enforce MuleSoft development standards, reusable assets, and governance processes.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of MuleSoft APIs and integrations on CloudHub.Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of integration solutions.Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of integration flows, APIs, platform configurations, and related systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational standards.Platform Administration for MuleSoft CloudHub, Solace PubSub+, and Globalscape EFT including maintaining and upgrading platform licenses, certificates, and configurations as required.Providing and managing user access, roles, and permissions in alignment with security policies.Monitoring platform health, performance, and availability, and implementing upgrades or patches as needed.Supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for these platforms, including configuration, maintenance, and enhancements to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.Leveraging existing expertise-or actively developing skills-in Microsoft Fabric and Data Engineering to contribute to upcoming initiatives in data integration, analytics, and enterprise data solutions, while supporting the team''s growth in these evolving technical areas.About YouBachelor''s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of enterprise integration experience, including 3+ years in MuleSoft development, with expertise in CloudHub and Anypoint Platform.Knowledge of API-led connectivity, RESTful services, RAML, and DataWeave.MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or Platform Architect certifications.Experience with Solace PubSub+ for messaging is a plus.Experience with Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools for CI/CD automation.Experience with platform administration for MuleSoft CloudHub, Solace PubSub+, and Globalscape EFT.Knowledge of license management, user access provisioning, and platform upgrades.Knowledge of integration patterns, security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, SAML), and performance monitoring in MuleSoft CloudHub.Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Data Engineering will be considered a strong plus.Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.A proactive approach to delivering scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business objectives.Ability to work effectively with enterprise architects, business analysts, and developers to define and deliver integration requirements.Comfortable working across hybrid environments involving cloud, on-prem, and third-party systems.Ensures accuracy in documentation, configurations, and system monitoring to maintain high operational standards.Enthusiastic about building new skills in emerging technologies such as Microsoft Fabric and data engineering.Ensures integration solutions adhere to enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards.This role represents a great opportunity to be part of tomorrow''s future and to showcase your skills within a dynamic, fast paced and high-performance culture by living WSI''s values:Safety is our priority | We do it with Heart | We strive to be different and better | We achieve togetherThere''s a great working environment in a collaborative team where your input will be valued and rewarded.How To ApplyPlease submit your application via the link or for a confidential enquiry email Thao Vu, Talent Acquisition Coordinator at WSI. tvu@wsiairport.com.auWSI is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture.
