We''re on the hunt for a Business Manager Merchandise Planning to lead our Merchandise Inventory & Planning team. Youll play a key leadership role within our soft goods business unit, aligning inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies to supercharge sales, gross margin, and stock efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Manage multimillion-dollar stock turn, P&L, and working capital. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, eCommerce and trade partners * Create and drive seasonal financial plans to meet and exceed BU targets. * Oversee sales, margin, and inventory performance keeping your finger on the pulse of the business. * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning professionals keeping engagement and capability sky high. What we are looking for * Strategic smarts: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute merchandise planning strategies that drive commercial results. * System expertise: Strong hands-on experience with merchandise planning systems, forecasting and replenishment tools (e.g. JDA, SAP, BW), and advanced Excel proficiency. * Category planning acumen: Skilled in planning for complex merchandise dynamics including size curves and seasonality across various product categories. * Financial fluency: Confident managing multi-million-dollar stock positions, optimizing stock turn, and driving P&L outcomes. * Analytical excellence: Capable of interpreting large datasets to extract insights and drive business decisions. * Collaborative style: Exceptional communicator and cross-functional collaborator who builds strong partnerships at all levels of the business.
