Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources, our shared commitment to professional excellence continues to keep our customers safe.As the Senior Regulatory and Safety Specialist, youll be responsible for providing specialist regulatory support to Qantas Engineering and Express Freighters operations including Design, Continuing Airworthiness Management, Aircraft Maintenance, Manufacturing and Technical Training. In this role, you will offer technical and hands-on support for various compliance and regulatory management activities, including the implementation of safety programs and the processes for aircraft entry into service and retirement. Reporting into the Manager Regulatory Implementation and Support, you will collaborate closely with internal operational stakeholders as well as Australian aviation authorities, international aviation authorities and government regulatory departments to ensure adherence to all aviation regulatory requirements. This is an exciting time to join our team as we prepare for the entry into service of the A321XLR and A350 aircraft, marking a significant milestone in our fleet renewal and expansion strategy.What Youll Bring To The Role5+ years experience working in an operational aviation environmentHigh level understanding and practical knowledge of CASA regulations Part 21, 42, 145, and 147Sound knowledge of the Aviation Regulatory Framework is essentialProfessional aviation management or safety qualifications, including Lead Auditor is highly regardedProcess driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals.Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement.A combination of well- developed project management, planning and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaborativelyWhy Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
