Youll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and compliance across the Surf Coast Shire, working closely with the Municipal Building Surveyor to uphold building regulations and industry standards.In this role, youll:Lead building enforcement investigations and support the MBS/Building Surveyor with case managementEnsure accurate records and adherence to legislative and code of conduct requirementsNavigate a wide range of scenarios, from rural builds and mixed-use developments to accommodation and major eventsContribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementThis is your chance to work in a values-driven council with a strong team culture and a deep commitment to public safety and wellbeing.What You Will Bring To The RoleYoure an experienced and adaptable Building Inspector who thrives in a fast-paced, enforcement-focused environment.
