This role is a 2-year max term contract based in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, at the site of the largest wind farm in NSW, located in Wellington.As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:Oversee all aspects of Subcontract administration, including managing variations, delays, claims, correspondence, and general administration, in accordance with the Security of Payments legislation.Oversee and manage the entire subcontract lifecycle, from initial negotiations through to subcontract execution, delivery, and closeout.Monitor contract budgets, track costs, and manage invoicing, payments, financial reporting and update of project progress within project controls systemIdentify contractual risks, ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and manage variations or disputes effectively.Collate, review, submit and store documentation for reporting and claims.Maintain accurate contract records, manage amendments, and provide regular reports on contract performance and obligationsProvide commercial inputs into RFP packages and agreements to ensure that value for money is maximised through the procurement process and that compliant bids are received.Support the procurement team with subcontractor terms and conditionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholdersWhat do you bring?In addition to the above, we require an individual with;Minimum 8 years + demonstrated experience in contract administration within the construction industryTertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, claims/variations management, completion, and closeout.Stakeholder Management; maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholdersProficient in MS Office Suite and contract management software such as AconexWillingness to work on a fly-in/fly-out basis with an industry-standard work cycle on a DIDO or FIFO on a 21:7 roster or DIDO 10.4 rosterWhats in it for youAt Nacap, were not just another construction company, below are some of the many supports and benefits we offer;Generous Employee Referral Program: Refer talent and earn a bonusDiscounts Program: Access everyday savings at over 400 retailers.Market Competitive Remuneration: We value your expertise and contribution.Career Growth Opportunities: Our dynamic industry offers endless possibilities for professional development and advancement.
