We deliver 29 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.The roleCreate, organise, and promote a variety of programs and events to address the informational and recreational needs of the community.We''re on the lookout for two passionate individuals to fill Permanent Full-Time positions at our vibrant Bankstown and Panania Knowledge and Learning Centres. If you''re enthusiastic about the community, and making a real impact, wed love to hear from you!Duties will include but not be limited to:Provide high quality customer focussed and professional service and help maintain a positive Library environment.Assist and deliver the library programs and activities and promote library services and resources to the community.Support the team in managing day-to-day library operations in all library service deliveryLiaise with relevant teams in the provision of information service to customers.Assist with the maintenance of library collections to ensure the collections are relevant to community needs.Actively participate in the development and implementation of the teams business plan.Planning, developing, and implementing childrens activitiesFor a full list of duties, click here to review the position description.You will haveEligible for membership of Australian Library and Information Association or qualifications or experience relevant to the duties stated.Working with Children CheckDemonstrated strong commitment to delivering quality customer service in a cross-cultural customer service environment.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members of the public business unit customers, team members and partners.Excellent written and spoken English.Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution skills.The salary range for this opportunity starts at $69,728 (Grade D, Step1) + 11.5% super.
