The Role Ready to take the next step in your warehouse career? Were on the lookout for a motivated, hands-on Second-in-Charge (2IC) to support our WA operations. In this role, you wont just be managing stock and workflows, youll be leading by example, solving problems on the ground, and helping our team deliver outstanding service every day. As a key support to the Site Supervisor, youll coordinate daily activities, mentor staff, uphold safety standards, and ensure smooth and efficient operations. Primary responsibilities: Pack orders effectively to avoid transit damage. Load trucks using forklift (if licensed). Collect cardboard/plastic, and put through compactor, empty bins, and sweep up. Carry out general forklift tasks (if licensed), as directed. Communicate and solve issues that arise in the warehouse. Seek to achieve results by harnessing the skills, commitment, and enthusiasm of team members. Deliver on objectives set and results expected by internal and external customers Encourage and support the use of continuous improvement initiatives among team members to promote ownership and increased customer satisfaction. Proactively address and resolve team differences to maintain harmony, productivity, and mutual respect within the group. Skills and experience you will need: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Previous warehouse leadership experience RF picking experience is desirable. General working knowledge of warehouse management systems Minimum one (1) year High Reach Forklift experience licence (as required). Intermediate MS Office skills (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Ability to safely lift up to 15kgs Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace. Solutions and customer focussed with an open mind for change.
