Youll get training provided and help upskilling in areas youre passionate about (AIS accreditation, Aircon tickets and more!) We maintain high safety standards ( your safety is our top priority! ) Heres a day in the life of a Reid Diesel mechanic: Repairs and maintenance to a variety of heavy vehicles, mobile plant and agricultural equipment Scheduled servicing, hydraulic repairs, electrical repairs, diagnostics and fault finding, accessory fitting (you name it, we do it!) Welding & Fabrication & Auto Electrical Servicing and repairs of air conditioning systems (relevant accreditations required) Perform truck COIs (if you dont have the relevant accreditations, dont sweat, well sort it!) Component change outs and rebuilds Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met Heres what we need from you: Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) Minimum 5 years post trade experience highly regarded Comprehensive experience with Earthmoving and Agricultural equipment highly regarded Extensive knowledge of diesel systems and components (including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components) Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills , allowing you to identify and rectify complex issues A commitment to delivering high quality work and the ability to maintain detailed records of all work performed Tech-savvy (so you can use that company iPhone and laptop!) and experience with ServiceM8 /Job Management software advantageous Ability to collaborate with suppliers to order necessary components if youre keen to run your own show , or we can handle this! Top notch communication and customer service skills (youre the face of our business!) Honest, reliable, motivated and trustworthy character with a positive, go hard or go home attitude Valid drivers licence and Construction Industry card highly regarded Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment medical, National Police Check and Drug and Alcohol test (a requirement for some worksites) Ability to comply with all WHS policies and procedures (because no one wants to get injured at work!)
