Job Description

Primary Purpose To provide pre and post-sales support for EVIDENT T&M equipment including Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and Analytical Instrumentation (ANI) products. This includes the repair and assessment of equipment in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring optimal performance for customer operations. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and repair work in accordance with all relevant certification procedures and regulatory requirements such as NATA, AS/ISO9002, Electrical Safety and EH&S standards. Carry out repairs and service of ANI, RVI & NDT equipment with swift instrument return to the client Ensure all equipment repairs meet Evident quality and standards before releasing to customers Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on demonstration and loan equipment, ensuring long-term functionality and reliability Configure and optimize T&M equipment during pre-staging of T&M equipment, as required for demonstrations or deployments, ensuring all systems are fully operational. Process all warranty cases and for T&M and any third-party products to the providers Act as the technical support and liaison for Evident T&M products, providing advanced technical support to internal teams and external clients. Test and inspect instruments post-repair, signing off the repair report and Quality Assurance Certificate, to confirm compliance with performance standards and to accept accountability for operational readiness. Provide technical insights and feedback on potential prospects and client needs to the sales department Maintenance of comprehensive customer instrument service records, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates Co-ordinate projects in a team environment or work independently under general supervision Inspect products and/or materials for conformity within established operational standards Maintain tools / work area to in accordance with 5S principle Responsible for the correct operation and storage of test equipment used in the repair/testing of electronic processing equipment Perform other tasks as requested by the manager and team lead Formal Qualifications Bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering (fresh graduates are welcome to apply). Alternatively, a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft applications including Microsoft office. Possess an understanding of electronics and computer-linked equipment. Excellent electro-mechanical aptitude with exposure to optical mechanics is advantageous.
