ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Team Leader to join our established team here at our Wacol Warehouse. This is a full-time position supporting the day-to-day operational functions of our busy warehouse. Reporting to the Operations Manager providing direction, leadership and support to our team of nine operators. Wacol warehouse has a unique mix of customers across DIY and Toys all the way over to FMCG and lawncare, this range requires a unique blend of operational prowess, with particular focus on planning to ensure we have the correct resources available to meet our KPIs. Youll work closely with the dispatch team to ensure we are moving our customer freight on time, every time. At the forefront of everyday is a focus on promoting a safe working environment and championing WH&S in every activity performed. Key Responsibilities Day planning working with the Operations Manager to make everyday a success Lead the team, keep your finger on the pulse of the operation and make necessary adjustments to keep us on track Mentor Team members Champion WH&S Ensure presentation is standard setting Liaise with branch support on inventory issues and drive good habits in stock management Cost control, challenge yourself to do more with less. Ideally, we are looking for a leader, we need a brave, confident and driven leader to join our team and help us take our operation to the next level. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills and fostering a team environment with a demonstrated history in effective team leadership and sound knowledge of warehousing functions.
