Position Profile: This is an exciting opportunity for applicants with proven skills and experience in project management methodology, and highly developed writing and communication skills, to join the Projects Team within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing a bespoke project that will deliver General Practitioner Training for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and children over 10 years of age. Other responsibilities will include: Ensuring effective project development and key deliverables are achieved Identifying and analysing potential risks, benefits, costs and impact on the WA Health system in relation to proposed initiatives and strategies Prepares project documentation and responses including procurement plans and proposal specifications, Parliamentary Questions, briefing notes and general correspondence on project activities and initiatives Develops and maintains effective liaison with health services, health professionals, health service managers and other health industry stakeholders Monitors and reviews clinical policies and consults with relevant health professionals or professional bodies and associations in the development of protocols and policies to improve service delivery.
