About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a Systems Librarian to join our team. The Systems Librarian contributes to the general operations and library services and is responsible for the management and ongoing development of the librarys technology infrastructure to ensure efficient access to resources and services. The role will also support strategic improvements through data analysis, vendor liaison and planning. This is a broad, service orientated role that combines systems administration with public library service delivery and planning. Key responsibilities include: Lead the configuration, maintenance, upgrading and implementation of library technologies, systems, eResources and associated platforms to facilitate access to library services and ensure systems are optimised to meet library needs. Coordinate with ICT vendors and support services to resolve technical issues and implement system updates. Provide technical support and training to library staff and patrons using library systems. Develop procedures and relevant documentation to support efficient work practices. What are we looking for? To be successful in this role you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Studies with a strong focus on systems management or IT related fields. You will have previous experience effectively managing library systems, with demonstrated experience utilising a diverse range of AI tools, digital technologies and platforms. You are a strong communicator with the ability to interact with a range of diverse clients. What can the City of Vincent offer you?
