Job Opportunity: Grounds Person at VentiaSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert:Ventia is currently seeking a Grounds Person to join their team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Grounds Maintenance services across Defence sites in Darwin, NT. This role involves working as part of a small team to maintain the grounds at Defence Bases, ensuring they look their best at all times.We are happy to provide full training for individuals with the right attitude! Salary: $32 per hour.Responsibilities:Undertake job safety checks prior to starting workService equipment before useOperate and maintain equipment according to the Operators Manual and maintenance schedulesMaintain gardens and lawns as directedParticipate in general labouring at grounds, building, and plumbing sites, or as directedRegularly clean vehicles, grounds equipment, machinery, and tools used during service deliverySkills and Experience:Experience working outdoors in hot environmentsAbility to work well in a teamValid Australian Drivers Licence and transportWillingness to undergo and pass an Australian Police CheckNote: You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence security clearance to be eligible for this position.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
