Job Description:Join the Team at Mars Food & Nutrition Australia!Mars Food Australia home to iconic brands likeMASTERFOODSandDOLMIO, we are excited to invite a talentedNight Shift Mechanical Technicianto join our dynamic team inWyong, NSW(Central Coast).Working hours: 11:00 PM Sunday to 7:00 AM Friday (five consecutive nights).Why Join Us?In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our production operations, ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.You''ll have the opportunity to provide hands-on mechanical support across multiple production lines, making a real difference in our commitment to quality and reliability.What are we looking for:A proactive and engaged technician with a strong focus on continuous improvement.Strong problem-solving skills and Mechanical acumen.A team player who is willing to support different areas as required.Experience in breakdown maintenance and food manufacturing environments.Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Trade (Fitter and Turner).Skilled in TIG welding and general fabrication work.What will be your key responsibilities?Provide mechanical support across seven production lines, including equipment repairs, inspections, and component replacements.Drive team engagement by promoting continuous improvement initiatives and helping to build team capabilities.Reflect on and improve maintenance plans to support ongoing maintenance optimization efforts.Continuously strive to reduce reliability downtime through proactive maintenance practices and problem-solving.What can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
