Through training, coaching, and continued education, we develop our maintenance technicians to become the best in the industry!In addition to a competitive hourly salary, we offer a generous commission structure, full medical and dental benefits, paid holidays, vacation time, continued training, advancement opportunities, and much more!General SummaryUnder the immediate supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of maintenance and repairs at an apartment community.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMake ready units for new move-insComplete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, blowing of breezeways, and light landscapingCoordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficientlyPerform minor electrical maintenance including, but not limited to, replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g., wall switches, outlets, bulbs, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty toolsPerform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g., repair leaks, unclog drains, add new lines)Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., surface preparation, painting, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles)Be HVAC certified, with knowledge of systems, able to maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systemsDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustmentsSchedule and complete preventative maintenance programsRead and interpret equipment manuals for maintenance and serviceRespond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate concernsWork flexible hours as neededComply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areasComplete other tasks as directed and assignedPowered by JazzHRvCfum20rBh #J-18808-Ljbffr
