The Role Reporting to a Delivery Support Lead, as a Delivery Support Officer, you will work as part of a small administrative team in one of the Information Technology delivery Branches within the Digital Solutions Division. You may be required to work in-line with Divisional standards and requirements to achieve the budget and finance related outcomes for your nominated Branch. You will work day-to-day on matters relating to Project delivery, budget monitoring, and workforce planning. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager, Directors, and Lead Delivery Managers to track projects, resource requirements, and finances while providing strategic insights and supporting decision-making. The successful applicant will receive the necessary training, mentoring, and guidance to perform the key responsibilities of the role and to advance their careers in the Australian Public Service (APS) Duties And Responsibilities Responsibilities of the APS Level 6 Delivery Support Officer may include: Support Delivery Teams in reporting project progress using standard agile metrics. Collaborate closely with Delivery Teams and other agile practitioners to enhance agile practices within the Branch and across the division Assist Delivery Managers with monitoring projects milestones, identifying and monitoring risks. Support the Delivery Managers in ensuring that resource allocation aligns with workforce and project plans. Assist with the monitoring and reporting of workforce utilisation, including timesheets and capacity planning. Perform various administrative tasks as required, which may include assisting in contractor management processes, recruitment and other initiatives.
