Join to apply for the Warehouse Porter II role at The Chefs'' Warehouse.This position offers an entry-level opportunity to gain management experience and grow within the company. The Porter 2 role is a foundational position below team lead, responsible for ensuring customer orders are filled accurately, promptly, and with high quality. It also provides training to develop leadership skills.Responsibilities:Attend daily shift meetings, follow safety protocols, and participate in daily exercises.Operate electric walkie or pallet jack for order picking using a voice system, maintaining equipment care and reporting accidents.Select multiple customer orders accurately and efficiently, stacking products to meet standards.Assist with shorts and substitutions, audit orders, and correct errors on the spot.Load orders correctly and on time for dispatch.Train new hires on equipment and systems.Follow safety and quality standards such as the BRC program.Assign work to team members and participate in management training.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Effective communication and teamwork skills.Self-motivated with attention to detail.Good organizational and time management skills.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.High School Diploma or GED preferred.Physical & Equipment Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Experience with electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools.Benefits:Paid vacations and holidays.Health, dental, and medical insurance.Weekly pay, life insurance, 401k, employee discounts, and stock purchase plans.The Chefs'' Warehouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
