This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a small, high-performing team at a global leader in chemical logistics.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Leverage trade lane & market knowledge to service PSA BDP customers and support our Sales team in gaining market advantage.Utilize relationships with vendors in trucking, rail, ocean freight, airfreight, and warehousing sectors to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and PSA BDP.Prepare quotations for PSA BDP Australia house accounts and global offices & agents.Track and trace shipments for customers as required.Assist Sales & Business Development in quoting new opportunities.Manage compliance inquiries, ensuring adherence to PSA BDP policies and regulations, including embargoes.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers such as shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines, and truckers.Ensure timely and accurate data entry into our operating system.Procure services from vendors, including shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, rail, and cartage companies.Assist customers with import order coordination.Provide order status reports using CargoWise order manager.Generate KPI reports for customers as needed.Resolve operational issues in collaboration with PSA BDP offices and agents.Work with Finance to resolve invoicing issues involving customers, vendors, and offices.Job RequirementsCapabilities & Experience:Minimum of 3 years freight forwarding experience.Knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, and value-added logistics solutions.Strong relationship management skills.Experience in rate procurement and quoting.Proven ability to seek face-to-face appointments with new and existing customers.Results-driven mindset to meet sales KPIs and targets.Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Ability to self-manage, multitask, and work independently.Team-oriented with a strong customer service focus and internal collaboration skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
