Permanent Fulltime role on offer at Mt Wilga Private Hospital!About The RoleJoining our team as a Cook A Grade at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafeteria, and functions. You will also ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and be part of a large, varied team.The duties include but are not limited to:Cold Larder Preparation and handling of foodPreparation & Cooking of mealsUnderstanding of patient dietary requirementsEnsuring a clean environment is maintainedWash & clean downs of equipmentDaily completion of food and safety log sheetsCompliance with food safety & HACCPStock rotationAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:Certificate in Commercial CookingMinimum 2 years experience as a CookAbility to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirementsMust have a thorough understanding of allergy management practicesAbility to work in a multicultural and diverse workplacePrevious healthcare setting experience will be highly regarded.Remuneration$31.00 per hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.The HospitalMt Wilga is in the beautiful bushland suburb of Hornsby established over 65 years ago.As part of Ramsay Health Care, we operate high-quality services and deliver excellent patient care.
