Join a Leading Agribusiness in a Dynamic and Rewarding RoleLocated in Tumby Bay on the beautiful Eyre PeninsulaAbout the RoleWere looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our team at the Tumby Bay site in a permanent part-time capacity. These positions are key to the smooth running of our grain storage and handling operations, and youll be at the forefront of it all.If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and being part of a supportive team, this role is for you. Youll be involved in everything from operating machinery to maintaining high grain quality and contributing to export operations. Youll thrive in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact the success of the site.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery: Load and unload trucks and use forklifts and other equipment.Grain quality control: Help ensure the grain meets the required standards.Assist with outturning: Support the bulk export program via road transport.Maintain storage areas: Keep grain storage areas clean and organized.Lead and train: Help lead and assist seasonal staff during peak periods.Monitor and maintain: Oversee bunkers, silos, and tarps.General maintenance: Help with equipment upkeep and pest control management.About YouTeam-oriented: You enjoy working in a team and taking on new challenges.Good communicator: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Leadership skills: Proven effective leadership and team building skills.Experience: Previous grain handling or similar experience is preferred, but not essential.Knowledge: Commodity classification preferred but not essential.Drivers licence: A current licence is preferred but not essential.Safety leader: Youll take pride in being a safety leader by prioritizing safety and consistently following procedures to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.About ViterraAt Viterra, were proud to be a leader in the Australian agribusiness industry.
