All supported by a newly expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit.Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.As a Food Service Assistant Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAssist in daily food preparation and basic meal assemblyDeliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal traysAssist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.Provide high standard of customer serviceOperate in line with WHS policy & proceduresDeliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patientsEssential CriteriaPrevious experience in a hospital hospitality setting (desirable)Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirementsExcellent time management skillsCommitment to service excellence.Strong communication and customer skillsAttention to detailWork well independently and within a teamFlexibility / Ability to work early/ late shifts and weekend workAvailable for on call shiftsWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.Our people are at the heart of our organisation no matter the role, every day our people make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
