This role will be responsible for the grounds and maintenance work within our Land Lease Community of 276 homes. As a Grounds & Maintenance officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of the community. Ingenia Lifestyle Communities are a collection of unique communities in nature rich locations, designed for our residents to stop waiting and start living!This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience in grounds work, maintenance, gardening or manual labour.ResponsibilitiesMaintain gardens & lawns in the community, including weeding, edging, mowing, spraying, hedging etcMaintain community facilities & public areas in the communityAttend to repair & maintenance matters in public areas and facilitiesPerform routine maintenance and work to a maintenance scheduleGeneral upkeep and appearance of the communityEnsure the community is presented to a high standard at all timesAssist coordination of trades where requiredProper and safe use of and storage of all materials, chemicals, consumables and gardening equipment and toolsRemoval of rubbish & emptying of bins where requiredPressure wash common areas as required, including BBQ pavilions and pathsAssist with setup and pack up of equipment in Clubhouse as requiredAbout YouGreat customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detailSelf-motivatedProblem solver with a keen eye for detailPrevious experience working as a handyman or in a gardening or maintenance positionDriver''s LicenceAbility to work with limited supervisionPolice CheckProviding an exceptional service to our residents is one of the most important factors for the success of our business.
