We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter Machinist to join our team in Mackay QLD. This role is ideal for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail. You will be self-motivated and adaptable as the job requires. This is a full-time permanent opportunity for someone seeking career stability and a good work/life balance. Duties and Responsibilities: Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off-highway, and industrial applications. Machine driveline components. Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts. Perform general workshop duties as required. You will report to the Branch Manager and work as part of a team based in Mackay QLD. Requirements for Success: Well-developed fitting and machining skills from a workshop environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge. Proven safety and quality focus, adhering to company health and safety policies. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to achieving business targets.
